A while ago, I was asked to do an interview by Eat Fat, Get Fit on Facebook. I sat down and wrote out a long rambling account of my fitness journey, as it has been so far. The author of the blog edited it down a little, and put it up on his blog with some pictures scattered throughout.

I want to put up the long version of my fitness journey, my thought process about exercise in general, my take on Paleo/primal, and maybe even a page of "benchmarks" of where I am at strength-wise. The last one would be more for me though. :)

1. My ex is...still my friend.
2. I should learn to...be more patient.

5. I don't understand...why it's so hard for eligible people to get jobs.
6. When I wake up in the morning...I have to follow my routine, otherwise my whole day is messed up.
7. I lost...some of my singing ability. :(
8. Life is...pretty good, can't WAIT for conventions!
9. My past taught me...I can do anything if I put my mind to it.
10. I get annoyed when...hangers get tangled up. Or when I spill mochas on myself. Or slow drivers.
11. Parties...never had that experience, thankfully.
12. I wish...for a lifetime of happiness.
13. Dogs and cats...Dogs are waaay better than cats. Definitely cant wait to get a dog.
14. My childhood pets...consisted of dogs.
15. Tomorrow is...Monday, and I actually have a list of things to do.
16. I have a low tolerance for...a lack of morality.
17. If I had a million dollars...I would pay off all of our debt, fix up our plexer, and invest the rest for retirement.
18. I'm terrified of...losing the people that are most important to me.

2) Was your last kiss a mistake? Of course not.

5) Do you regret it? Dear goodness, no.
6) What's your favorite BBQ'd food? Those little wienies.
7) Do you talk about your feelings or hide them? Depends.. on here I tend to talk about them more. In real life, I'm pretty much a closed book.
8) Are you the same person as you were at the beginning of 2008? letsee.. 2008. I was just married. So no.
9) Are you eating? just was. :)
10) How's your ex doing? Uhm.. that was a long time ago. As far as I know, all of them are doing good.
11) What did you last eat? my leftover mac'n'cheese
12) What are you listening to? my washer emptying water
13) What cell phone service do you use? alltel soon to be Verizon. sigh.
14) How's the weather? really nice. Sunny and 75 degrees.

Okay, got all the papers filed. Now..

1. What bill do you hate paying the most?
Anything that's over $50... which is pretty much every single one. :) Back in Waterloo, it was our energy bill in the wintertime... I mean, really, $240 to heat the dang apartment?
2. Where was the last place you had a romantic dinner?
Uh, romantic? The night Joel proposed? lol.. We don't do romantic very much. The last "nice" place we went out together was Red Lobster.
3. What do you really want to be doing right now?
Something. I'm tired of getting put off with this whole job situation. I've already cleaned the whole house, including windows, this week. I can't even do laundry, because there's a shortage of the dryer that I ordered. Ho hum. Of course, it would be nice to be wrapped in a hug with Joel, too. :)
4. How many colleges did you attend?
2.. Master of the community college, right here.
5. Why did you choose the shirt that you have on right now?
Uhm. Because I went for a walk this morning, and haven't changed out of my old t-shirt yet..?
6. What are your thoughts on gas prices?
Dumb. We need to get a more fuel-efficient vehicle... a truck, cargo van, and a premium-only car doesn't really cut it for the drive down to Houston we're planning on this summer sometime.
7. First thought when the alarm went off this morning?
Hm. Do I have an agenda today? No. Could I keep sleeping? Yes. Do I actually want to turn my alarm off? No, I might sleep way too late. Darn. There goes the snooze ring.

I miss my sweetie.

Eh. No.

Washing windows.

Honestly, I love how I feel when I get up early. Can I do it without Joel? Rarely.

Roast beef or smoked turkey.

Usually, its Mountain Dew for Joel.

Hm. Let me count the times. There was the "Ooos, took the gravel corner too fast in the minivan" time, and there was the "Thanks for pulling out in front of me, Mr. Milktruck driver, on the road you can't even walk across because it's that slick from the ice" time, and then there was the, "Hey, Mom, these people are all going really slow.. it's not even slippery out here. Oh wait, icy/slushy curve bridge ahead" Trailblazer time. So 3.

Nope. Thank goodness.

I've relaxed about a lot of things... I was very uptight even just 2-3 years ago.

They were pretty good. I actually liked school, had a good group of friends, finally gained some self-confidence, had a low-key easy job.. yeah they were pretty good.

Sometimes.

2. What color is your favorite hoodie?
My white zip-up hoodie from HCC
3. Would you kiss the last person you kissed again?
I sure would. That would be wonderful right now. :)

Obviously.
5. How are you feeling RIGHT now?
Good... just finished some more juice for lunch. I also made myself a small chicken breast on the George Foreman that I had marinated in spices, ranch dressing, and olive oil since yesterday.
6. Whats the closest thing to you that's red?
... a chip clip. Random.
7. Tell me about the last dream you remember having?
Eek. I haven't remembered a dream in a long time. But I think it was that one where Joel and I were uhm, ya'know in a corridor of a sky-rise hotel overlooking this huge city.

nope.
9. What are you craving right now?
nothing, actually. I'm not really hungry. Chips and salsa always sound good though.

*shame* about twice a year, three if I happen to go to the dentist.

Sure. It's pretty versatile and isn't falling out anymore since I started using this natural shampoo and conditioner.
