Pass the random, please!

Just a little snippet from my mind..

When I was a kid, I would often (as in meaning usually once a day) stop what I was doing, look at the clock, note the time, and think to myself: "Now, if something hugely catastrophic happened right now, or we got a phone call with bad news, I could be a really good witness and know the exact time it happened."

LOL! I thought I was the only one who did that. ;)

I think it is a girl thing. I still catch myself doing that from time to time.

After Jay and I got in our motorcycle/car accident the first thing I did (after making sure Jay was alright, of course) was to check my watch to see what time it was. From that I could tell the lady that ran into us was late for work and that's why we had the accident in the first place...I guess I was a good witness! Haha.

The funny thing is.. like with Brenton's death this summer, I didn't even think of checking the time... so I kinda failed. :)

Funny Mariah, don't think I ever thought that way when I was a kid, the only time I usually check my watch all the time is when I'm at work!
