Someone help me please!
I've been noticing it for the last well, year at least, but in the last 2-3 months, my hair has been crazy falling out. When I'm combing my hair out after washing it, or even during washing, there's tons of strands that come out.
What causes that? I've tried 3-4 different kinds of shampoo/conditioner (I've stayed away from the 'all-natural' shampoos because my hair 'au-natural' is a frizzy nasty mess.). I do wear my hair up nearly every single day because if I wear it down I have to use tons of product or straighten it... and that's not good for it either...
Any suggestions for me? I have to clean out my hair trap in the drain nearly every day if I dont want the water to back up. It's gross.

Oy! I've been there! But, with me it was a thyroid problem. Once I took the right supplements to fix it, my hair went back to normal. It got really thin (compared to before) though, before I figured that out. Good luck!
Stress (you don't have any of that do you??), birth control pills, hormone changes, medications, hormone changes could all contribute to that.
I peek at your blog now and then. Joel is my 2nd cousin, not that you care :)
As far as the drain deal.. they make a thing to place on top of your drain; water goes through, hair stays on top. You still have to take the hair out- but you don't have to dig it out of the drain :)
Heather- haha.. I peek at yours too.. I also use one of those.. but it's still nasty and still feels like I'm digging... :)
Jenny- I think I'm going to work with my diet a little more faithfully, especially now that I'm working at the health food store and can do it a little more cheaply... Dad's getting into the 'genotype diet,' which I'm going to *try* to follow... that should help with a variety of things, along with my daily regiment of supplements as well... :)
We'll see. Hopefully something works.
