"Mariah, do these jeans look too small?"

"Mmm. A bit."

"Oh, well they're the last pair clean."

"Oops."

Um, yes! In fact, my hubby said he's going to get a new laundry lady! Yay!!! Now I'll have MORE time to do other things. (it is a good thing, right?) BTW, my daughter is filling your shoes (or trying to) at TNK.

Yeah, well, usually our conversations go something like "Hey hon, there's no clean underwear in my drawer!" hollered from the upstairs. To which I usually respond "Look in the dryer/laundry basket/pile on the guest room bed!"

I think it is a requirement for being married. We have to pay ($3.00 /load) to do laundry, so it is prioritized. Socks, undies, jeans and shirts. All else has to wait for a wind fall or a trip to Mom and Dad's with no other plans. We have a low priority laundry mountain, the conveniently fits right under our storage selves in the bedroom. Luck for me I have a VERY low maintenance hubby. :)

Try this. Working Nights 2-3 Days a week, being at convention every weekend, or meandering somewhere else, and having a solid 15 credits of all project based classes.

I maybe have time for laundry once every two weeks. Good thing I have enough clothes and awesome people who let me use their washer and dryer fo freeee. (aka your aunt/uncle in-laws. if thats a thing)

heh. welcome to my life.

Oh Mir. I didn't work night shift, but I worked 30 hours a week, was newly married, and had a big fat 18 credits of project classes (shooting, developing film, making prints). On weekends we usually we either going to my parent's or Joel's parent's house.

That's when Joel started being able to do his own laundry every two weeks, and I did mine once a month. (That's a lot of undies, I know.)

You get used to it. :)
