Fail.

Yesterday evening was fun.

We were invited along with K&R for some boating fun. I was somewhat badgered into attempting a water sport.

Let's back up and say that I have no arm strength. At all.

Knee-boarding earlier this summer was a fail. I just kind of cruised around laying on the knee-board. Just chillin'. Could have called it stomach-boarding.

So, I'm going to wakeboard. "Oh, don't worry. You don't have to do anything, the boat pulls you out. Just bend your knees and then tilt the board as soon as you start going." Sure. Right. I can do this.

As there were no cameras on board, I took the liberty of finding this image online to re-create my experience for you.

This was my position. The whole time. Each time. All 87 tries.

Sigh. Maybe next time.

Think I should add push-ups to my list of things I should do? I think so.

Ha, ha, your postings are so funny!! I would have liked to see you, have you ever tried water skiing, might be easier.

If it makes you feel any better I've never been able to get up on a wakeboard either... and heard the same thing... it's not really that hard! Well it sure seems hard to me! :) I've probably tried 50 times and only have made it for 100 feet for my longest time up.

I gave all that up & just settle for someone tying a rope to an inner-tube & dragging my lazy butt around the lake. Less stressful & still fun. ;)
